Taking a classic design of a seawall, Paul Benton used recent developments in ocean science to develop a new kind of seawall, that would more efficiently disperse wave energy. Combining his architectural aesthetics with broad civil engineering background and deep knowledge of the coastal permitting process, Paul has worked on seawalls for many clients on the coast of La Jolla. For each project, Paul provided all design services, construction management from start to finish, and obtained all Coastal Development Permits.
