Brooks Brothers remodel

An existing commercial building located on Girard Avenue in La Jolla Village. Extensive renovations were made to the 2-story commercial building, to remodel the first floor commercial space and add two residential units to the second floor. The historic building had fallen into disrepair, and much of the initial building effort done was rebuilding and refurbishing the structure to ensure it held the same stature, while adding a bit of height to allow for the upstairs residential units.

The interior renovations and exterior redesign revitalized the building and reinvigorated its presence on the distinguished streetscape. The private two-story roof deck for the residential units offers a private oasis within the village, and a perch that boasts views of La Jolla and the ocean.
